The 7th China-Southeast Asian Countries Marine Cooperation Forum will be held in Beihai, China on 26-27 October 2021. The Ministry of Natural Resources of China (State Oceanic Administration of China) will co-host the Forum with the Guangxi Provincial Government and the Thailand's Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The First Institute of Oceanography (FIO) and the Fourth Institute of Oceanography (4IO) of the Ministry of Natural Resources will work together with the local governments as the co-organizers.
Based on the outcomes of the past six successful Forums, the 7th China-Southeast Asian Countries Marine Cooperation Forum aims to further strengthening the communication of marine science and technology among the Southeast Asian countries and China. Participants from China and the Southeast countries will be invited to communicate with each other.
A few side events will be organized during the Forum.
